Since a few month I have been very busy developing my own version of the Android software that we got on our devices. And I have come pretty far since then. Mainly I make my ROM for HTC devices, and my own device for now is the Desire HD. The US version of this is the Inspire 4G and for both devices I have my adjusted android software.
When I started to tweak and skin my software I had to come up with a name that for my ROM.
And proudly I present you: BinDroid
This ROM shows my own design, and when you install it you will also experiance my code adjustments/tweaks.
And a lot of people on xda-developers liked my design, and got an other device ready for BinDroid, the HTC Desire S. I did get some more request, but for now my time is cought up with the devices I support.
Tablets are very booming, and I am a real gadget freak... So I got to get me one of those, but HTC is not that fast with a nice big tablet, so i got the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi. And what to do, make my skin available for this tab, and an other device is listed with my BinDroid ROM.
To get a "Custom Rom"on your device you need to "Root" it and unlock your "Bootloader", and this is not done without any risk. So think twice before you start to do this. But on xda-developers.com you can find all information for almost all devices that have Android, Windows Mobile 6.5, Windows Phone 7 & even Ubuntu is available on some devices.
