Last weekend i went to the "Nooku Codejam". Did not know if it was something for me, because i'm not a real coder. But to my surprice it was realy interesting. I do know some PHP and MySQL databases, so i was able to follow everything they where talking about.

Johan Janssens form Nooku.org was realy clear with explaining what Nooku Frameworks was all about. With this advanced framework we are able to create extensions for Joomla with 80% less code then when you write it in the traditional way.

After the first intro with Johan Janssens, Babs Gösgens from crossinghippos.nl gave a demo of a small component she made. This demo made it realt clear for me, that even I as non coder am capable of creating small but handy stuff my self.

I now have the framework on my local server, and will start to experiment with the "com_harbour" that Nooku made for us to play with.
